When I was younger, I used to visit my grandparents in Chennai during holidays with my parents and my brother. I was always in awe of the huge beautiful kolams done by my mother there, especially during the tamil month of Margazhi. I have been trying to follow the tradition the last few years by making kolams at our apartment.
